If one race at Cheltenham is dominated by Irish runners, it is the Mares' Hurdle. Only two of the 14 runnings have stayed in Britain and even one of those (Roksana in 2019) was the beneficiary of a last-flight fall from the Willie Mullins-trained Benie Des Dieux.
