With one lucky winner landing £100,000 on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival and £800,000 still to play for, don’t miss your chance to enter ITV7 for free by 1:30pm Thursday for another chance to win.
With some winners across Tuesday and Wednesday, the Sporting Life team continue to aid your ITV7 selections, this time in the form of their very own Ben Linfoot. Will you play it safe with the favourites or go against the grain with a longshot?
With £300,000 up for grabs in Thursday’s round (enter for free by 1:30pm), choose your selections carefully!
1.30 Cheltenham – Turners Novices’ Chase
Bob Olinger
Only four runners but a potentially great match between Bob Olinger and Galopin Des Champs with preference for the former, who might have too much speed for his main rival.
1.55 Down Royal
Arlo
Stuart Crawford’s horse has shown a glimmer of ability in bumpers and maiden hurdles, and he could get off the mark thanks to a slight step up in trip.
2.10 Cheltenham – Pertemps Final
Sire Du Berlais
Twice a winner of this race and second in last year’s Stayers’ Hurdle, he can go in again with Rob James’ useful 7lb claim helping him from a handicapping point of view.
2.35 Down Royal
Mrs Watson
This mare looked on good terms with herself when winning at Clonmel last time out and she could well defy a weight rise in this weak contest.
2.50 Cheltenham – Ryanair Chase
Allaho
Last year’s performer of the Festival has looked in great nick once again this season and he can run his rivals into the ground with another aggressive effort from the front.
3.30 Cheltenham – Stayers’ Hurdle
Champ
Looked a staying hurdler out of the top drawer at Ascot in December and if he’s back in that sort of form he’s the one they all have to beat.
4.10 Cheltenham – Plate Handicap Chase
Imperial Alcazar
Got struck into when well-fancied for the Pertemps last season but dropping back in trip over fences saw a coming of age performance last time and he can go in again.
It’s been done already on Tuesday, but correctly predict seven winners of the seven races at Cheltenham and Down Royal, and you will take home £300,000 for free. Entries by 1:30pm.
